Oktoberfest People's Choice Award - Text to Vote

2013 Thanksgiving Oktoberfest Parade airs Monday, October 14 on CKCO CTV (Kitchener)

Keep an eye out for the Village of Brussels' very own Don McNeil in his snappy "Beverly Hills Hillbilly Automobile", a 1928 Model 'A' Ford adorned with many colourful and very entertaining ornaments.

Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest and the Thanksgiving Day Parade have gone wireless. For the third year in a row the 150,000 spectators at the Thanksgiving Day Parade will be able to text in their votes for the People's Choice Float Award. Spectators simply text the code on the sides of each of the floats to 54500 to cast their vote for the interactive award, and they can vote as many times as they want! The voter will be entered into a draw to win two tickets to fly with WestJet - to be drawn after the festival.

Congratulations Don McNeil on your upcoming participation in the 2013 Oktoberfest parade! Parade will be televised live on CKCO CTV (Kitchener) on Monday (Thanksgiving Day) October 14th at Noon. His parade number is "146 purple".
